New Title

I was just made aware that I would have to change the title of my blog now that there will be a little girl in the family. I am recruiting all of you to help me with that! One suggestion already was just to add 'sugar and spice and everything nice'. I like this but it may be to long and look funny up there. hmmm...

20 wks 3 days

So my appointment is scheduled for Friday April 3 at 11:15 am. I feel some relief that it is schedule :)

20 wk 3 day belly. I have only gained six pounds so far, if you can believe it ;)

Distracted

I'm a little distracted right now. Trying to keep my mind off the ultrasound. I've been doing everything with the phone attached to my hip waiting for Geisinger to call with my appointment. Just wanted to let everyone know we are still hanging in there and the boys are doing well. I'm going to try and start studying for my boards exam I guess, fun fun! Lots of love to everyone :)

Ultrasound

We got to see the little bean again today. So amazing :) The hematoma has gone down in size by only a cm or two. We were referred to see a maternal and fetal medicine specialist in Danville sometime in the next few weeks. They still have to call for an appointment. They are going to check the hematoma and also the baby. The ultrasound tech at Geisinger in Lewistown said that the babies face looked swollen around the left side and across the chest. I have never heard of this before so we are not sure what to expect. Please pray it is nothing. They told us not to worry they just want a second opinion. All in all things look good and are progressing nicely!

Official Graduate

Yay for me!! I did it. FINALLY :) It was a long hard year but we all made it. Thank you to everyone who could make it to graduation and for all the love and support from everyone over the year.

Last Week

This is it! My last week of school. Today was chaotic and I am sure they rest of my days will be also. I will probably be MIA most of this week, Sorry :( They boys are doing good besides our sleepless nights with Chubb Bubb. I am feeling ok, but stressed. I am anxious for my appointment on Friday. I will have lots to report from graduation pictures for those of you who can't attend and news from the new little one on Friday! Lots of love to all.

Meme made it through surgery ok and is now home! She skipped Ohesson and came straight home. Love you Meme! :)

Baby Picture!

Here is our new little nugget. Kind of upside down :) You can clearly see the nice back bone! The ultrasound went well. The bad news first, there is indeed a LARGE clot. But it is only one. It is laying along the left side of my uterus, whereas the placenta is along the right side. The placenta is attached nice and high and the cord is nice and high and no where near the clot. Both are good things. We now have to watch and wait and hope that A: the clot bleeds out B: the clot absorbs C: the clot does both. Worst case, the clot does not get smaller or even may get bigger and baby gets cramped in there. I could possibly have a preemie. Lets pray for the best! Lots of love to everyone.

Appointment Today

The appointment today didn't go as well as I would have liked. In my heart I guess I knew things weren't going to be perfect. After waiting to see the Dr. for about forty five minutes he finally came in and looked at my belly with the u/s. We got to see little glimpses of baby and he said that baby looks fine. He also said there were two hematomas (clots). One in the lower anterior and one in the lower posterior uterus. He said from what he saw it didn't look like they were causing any harm to the placenta or baby. He does however want me to go in for a higher powered ultrasound tomorrow bright and early. He kept saying the only thing that could have caused this was some sort of trauma. I can't remember any distinct trauma and poor Tyler feels like they think he caused it. I am so upset and feel so in the dark about everything that is going on. All the research I have found on this type of thing doesn't seem good. A lot of women have pre-term babies from placental abruption (when the placenta seperates from the uterus). Some at twenty weeks...I'm not to far from that :( Please pray everything turns out ok!

Good luck tomorrow Meme!! I love you lots :) We will be visiting!

8 Days left!

Eight more school days left! I am ready, there is too much happening right now to even think straight. I think I have most everything organized but I still feel the stress. Tomorrow I am teaching 3-5 year olds how to brush their teeth. 24 of them. I hope I can keep them interested long enough! Owen enjoyed my presentation when I practiced with him. He even asked me to do it again today.

We had a busy weekend. We were up to see Grammy and Uncle JC. The weather was beautiful! I wish I could have enjoyed it more but I was a little down this weekend. I'm still nervous about the ultrasound Wednesday. Aunt Stephie, Uncle Adam, Oliver and Jason came to visit Sunday which was also very nice, in spite of the rain. The boys still managed to get outside for a bit.

Action picture. They were going so fast it turned out blurry! ;)

Inspecting a puddle.

He loved it. He even sat in it :)

Owen came home from school today running another temperature :( I can't wait for nice weather and all the bugs to leave us alone!

Meme is going for her knee replacement Friday... FINALLY. No excuses this time meme ;) Please send lots of prayers her way. Love you!

Lots of love to everyone :)

Nice Day

I got the boys outside for a little today which was nice. The sunshine was great, its still a little cold for me though. I am ready for spring! I feel down today as most people in my house probably know. I am very grouchy and irritable. I think I am worried about my ultrasound next week. I still feel like something is wrong :( I just want peace of mind. Wednesday can't come soon enough. Me not resting and lifting and doing way more than I should be doesn't help calm my fears though. Shame on me.

On a more happy note, heres some pictures of my handsome boys!

Update

I was in to see my Dr. again today and he gave me the ok to finish school!!! YAY :) what a relief. I have an ultrasound scheduled for next Wednesday to make sure the clot is being absorbed. I feel much better today.

Brett is still sniffling and sneezing. He has a pretty nasty cough and may be running a low temp. He seems miserable and isn't sleeping well still. Pray he gets to recovering quickly!

Owen is doing much better. Besides an occasional cough he is back to himself again. Pray no one else gets this nasty bug going around.

I'm Home :)

Finally I made it home after a horrible time in the hospital :( I am doing fine and so is baby. Although it was a very scary experience. I have a subchorionic hemorrhage. It is a gathering of blood between the membranes of the placenta and the uterus. Normally they don't cause problems but mine decided to burst Dr. Solomon said probably because of where it was by the cervix. I just need to take it easy for now and hopefully all will be fine!
