Time to get ready for the New Year!

Updates as promised

Santa went around Yeagertown today on the front of one of the fire trucks! The kids were so excited. Brett couldn't figure out why Santa was riding a firetruck and not a sleigh. I tried to explain to him that he only brings the sleigh on Christmas to deliver all the presents with the reindeer. His comment to me was "That's just a fake Santa". He is just to grown up for his own good! Ok here are some needed updates :: Owen: Owen just celebrated his 7TH birthday! Can you believe that? I can't! He is turning into quite the young man. He is doing great in first grade! He is a math wiz and loves it. He also loves reading and is well on his way to reading on his own. He has been picking out a book most nights to read to his brother as a bed time story. He has been having a little difficulty on his reading comprehension unit assessments. I don't really think it is actually the reading comprehension part though. I think it is just that he doesn't slow down and take his time to read ALL the directions. Brett: Brett is getting ready to celebrate his 4th Birthday! He is doing great in preschool and loves every minute of it. The teachers find him very entertaining. He has his bad days when he is tired and grouchy but he is getting more used to the routine as the year goes on. He is a smart little bugger too. He knows all his letters by sight and can sing the abc song. He loves doing crafts and playing with the other kids. He loves song time at school and loves being the song picker as his job of the week. You can't help but fall in love with him Jillian: Oh my little Jillian. She is two and has hit her TERRIBLES! Don't take your eyes off her for one minute. If she is quiet it is to late. She is such a sweet heart though. She loves her baby dolls and is quite the little momma to them. She is starting to talk up a storm. You can't always understand what she says but she is getting there. She loves to give hugs and kisses and is a little cuddle bug. Don't tell her no though! She throws a Britt Fit like the best of em :) Mommy has competition.

It's been to long I know! Less than 10 days until Christmas and my last post Owen was wearing shorts! Not to many new happenings around our household though. The kids are growing like weeds and just as bad as ever. I will put in an attempt to get some good pictures up with some updates of each one!
