Owen can read!

Owen read his first book all by himself! I am so proud of my little man, I just had to brag :)

and of course chubb couldnt stand Owen getting all the attention so he had to pop into one of my pictures, silly kid. Jilly was there too but shes a little to short yet.

I don't ever really get many pictures of Owen on here. Mainly because of the examples below. He doesn't like his picture taken so it is like pulling teeth to get him to make a nice face. The other two are little hams.

So I'm going to try and start keeping track of all funny and cute things Brett says. I'm calling them "Chubbisims"

Number one is called Doughnut Rocks aka: Doughnut wholes. Brett says:

"MMMmmmm I love Doughnut Rocks mommy! Can I have another one?"

Gotta love that face :)

Sundays

Usually Sunday's are spent cleaning up and doing laundry in preparation for the week. Today is being spent with Jilly on the couch. Poor baby girl has a fever and earache. She didn't sleep well last night and you can really tell she is miserable :( One of things I hate moste is seeing my babies sick. She has been having sinus drainage and a mild cough but just recently developed the temp. I'm praying she doesn't have or doesn't get pneumonia! Get well baby girl!As for the boys. They have spent most of their morning in their new makeshift playroom....aka: the basement. Lol, my poor kids. It keeps it quiet for Jilly upstairs though and it is warm and they have a couch and a piece of carpet along with some of their toys. They have the option of going up to their room also but actually it is warmer in the basement I think. They love it.

Chubb's BIG wood

Just another Chubbisim "look at my big wood mommy!" This is what every mother wants to hear come out of her three year olds mouth! You can't help but love the kid.

Of course no one can make pig tails look as good as Jillian... I guess I am a little partial though :)

First Good snow

So we had our first "good" snow of the season. No matter how much I detest the icky white cold wet stuff I cannot say no to letting the kiddos play in it, at least for a little while. I guess I have to invest in a snow suit so that I don't get cold before them! Jillian is not a big fan of snow yet. She thought being outside was nuts and wouldn't let me put her down. It could have been the boots that were two sizes too big for her and causing her to fall over also..... I think it was mostly the icky white cold stuff though ;) We made snow angels....lots of snow angels! It's not snow man snow and falls apart when trying to pack it. I'm kinda thankful for that since I did not have any gloves on and Jilly wouldn't let me put her down. Don't mind Chubb's pink boots. I was trying to think ahead and invest in good hand-me-down, lol, just kidding! Actually mommy didn't really think ahead and plan very well. I didn't actually find the kids snow stuff until last weekend, after the actual first snow of the year. Poppy went to the store with us to get some boots for the boys and all they had in Bretts size were the nice pretty snowflake pink ones. He doesn't like them and neither does daddy but they do the job and keep his feet warm :) Plus now we don't have to get Jilly a pair for next year! Enough chitter chatter, enjoy the pictures!

Or this is what happens. I should have gotten a picture of all the blood and it may have been more impressive. Poor kid. Him and Chubb were wrestling to close to the fire place and he cracked his head right off the corner.
He has a nice gash the perfect shape of the corner. It bled pretty bad too. Suprisingly there was only minimal crying, kinda scared me because I thought he knocked himself out for how quiet he was. The blood scared him the most I think. He did complain of a littl e headache and it may have need a stitch or two but we got the bleeding under control and I didn't want to spend the evening in the Ed.
He just got some Ice and a Bandaide and he was good to go. I think next time he will listen to me when I tell him to settle down and move away from the fire place.

Bretts 3!

Happy Birthday little man! We had a great party! Brett was so excited for all his guests and all his gifts! We love you all!

Tomorrow is Brett's THIRD birthday! My little men are growing up.

Time for some updates

Tyler and I and the kiddos are all settled into our new home. Nothing major has come up just a few small things here and there. Still working on some painting in the kitchen and we will hopefully be getting our fireplace up and running here soon. The kids have settled into there rooms and are sleeping fairly well.

Owen is doing great in Kindergarten! He is making some friends and keeps asking to have one over sometime here soon. He is really starting to read as well!

Brett is getting ready to turn 3! that is very hard to believe. He is talking up a storm in full little man sentences. He loves his big brother and wants to do everything he does.

Jillian is finally walking! She just started sometime mid December and is now cruising pretty easily with a few topples now and then. She says a few words like "mom" "dad" "hi". She gives kisses and loves her daddy very much.

I'm baaaaacckkk :)

Finally got the internet and my wonderful kids and thoughtful husband got me a laptop for christmas! As soon as I get time to sit for a little I will be getting the blog updated. As of right now Jillian is not feeling well and needs some loving. We all had a great holiday and loved the time we got to spend with our family and friends! Lots of love to everyone :)
