Two things the boys love. Everytime the door opens or Brett hears the word 'outside' he starts saying 'bubbles! bubbles'. The kid can't get enough. His vocabulary is also increasing drastically. He loves to jabber and every now and then a real word pops out and you have to laugh. Last evening we were sitting outside getting ready for it to be dark enough for a few fireworks and he says 'birdie!' to a cardinal sitting on the bird feeder. We also caught lightening bugs and he kept saying 'bug' although it came out more like 'buck'. We got the point though :)
Owen loved setting off fireworks. Brett kept saying 'hot'. We had a blast though and they didn't want to put them away when it was way past bedtime. On the bright side Brett slept until 830 this am!
I have to head back into work today. Pray it goes well for me. Another four days and then a weekend off. Looks like we might get a storm or two today and everyday for the rest of the week.
